Acidity

Acidity is due to existence of too much acid in the stomach that causes impatient which relates to the stomach casing. This causes a blazing (flame) pain. When the excess acid leaks back in to the throat this inflames and it produces heartburn. In acidity, there is an act of gastric juices from the stomach into the lower food pipe.

Mainly this condition arises when the acidic contents in the stomach move to upwards into the esophagus and make it abnormal. Another definition of acidity is, a condition in which there will be an excess in the process of secreting a substance of acid with in the stomach. It is mainly known as hyperacidity or acid dyspepsia.

Causes:-
1. Eating more quantity of junk foods, oily and spicy foods will leads to burning sensation and causes acidity.
2. Eating fastly and fast devoid of proper chewing
3. Excessive intake of alcohol.
4. Pregnancy, obesity can also causes acidity
5. overweight people
6. By keeping stomach empty for long time or not eating breakfast may also cause acidity.
7. Chocolates which had more fats may also cause acidity.
8. Not having proper sleep.

Symptoms:-
Following are the some of the symptoms:-
1. Restlessness
2. Nausea and vomitingv 3. Sometimes bellyache is also felt
4. Sour belches and passing off wind
5. Respiratory problems and coughing

Avoidance:-
1. Eating daily a banana will stop acidity.
2. Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoons of honey in a glass of water before the meals.
3. Don't eat fried foods, pickles, hot spicy foods, chocolates.
4. Don't eat vegetables like onion, cabbage, radish and pepper.
5. Eat the food properly. Don't eat in hurry.
6. Don't skip your meals and there should not be any gap between the meals.
7. Drink lot of water (at least 8glasses).
8. Don't eat before going to bed
9. Stop smoking and drinking.

Some of the Home Remedies for Acidity:-
1. Eat daily some leaves of Tulsi which is helpful in relief of blazing, nausea and gas.
2. Eat fruits like watermelon, banana or cucumber each hour
3. When you get heartburn symptoms eat few almonds
4. Coconut water 4-5 periods a day.
5. Drink glass of cold milk for relief in acidity
6. Drink fresh mint juice daily after meals.
7. Take ginger and coriander in equal amounts to get relief.
8. Drink 1-2 glasses of water early in the morning
9. Take 2 tablespoons of Isabgol in milk after meals are also useful in eliminating acidity.
