Kids Health

Giving lots of love, patient and understanding them, giving good food and hygiene practice are the basic things done for a kid's health. The simplest way for a child to continue a routine, is to make it and habit and you should involve in it. It includes everything like taking healthy food, exercise, and most important is hygiene. The major health problems in children are obesity, and should require lack of regular exercise and also yearly check-ups.

1. It is highly advise that children should eat a balanced diet, which will include a lot fruits(in which vitamins and minerals are high.
2. Leafy greens(which should have antioxidants), and
3. Tomatoes which are having excellent source of antioxidants which will help in strengthening of immune system.
4. Avoid fried foods, and also eating in the night times because it creates the problems like acne in teen years and also adds the pounds fast.
5. Tell them to wash their hands often.
6. Don't share the water bottles or other drunken water because that is the faster way to get sick.
7. Tell them to drink lots of water.
8. Teach kids to wash their hands often and tell them not to put their hands in the mouth or bite their nails. That's a very important step to keep from getting sick

Some of the common diseases found in children are

  • Asthma
  • Measles
  • Meningitis
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Whooping(cough)
Healthy children should develop into healthy teenagers and adults. These all can be done if they are healthy only. Lots of things can be done if they want to do. Being active gives healthy growth and development. Children should have at least 1 hour of for being in reasonable limits to strong physical activity daily. Playing tag games, sports etc are good ways to get kids move while having fun even.
Some of them are

  • Starting a day with a healthy Breakfast:- Having breakfast will give them lots of energy for the day. Some of the breakfast foods are whole-grain breads, cereals, whole fruits, skim and yogurt.

  • Snacks:- snacks provide an additional energy of calories provided for the kids throughout their day.

  • Eating lot of different foods:- Children's should eat lot of different foods including vegetables, fruits and whole grains; small amount of diary and meats to get the nutrients needed for their growth and health.

    1. Macronutrients:-carbohydrates, fats and proteins(main source of fuel)
    2. Micronutrients:- vitamins and minerals(body functions)

  • Drinking large amounts of liquids:- children should drink lots of liquids like hydration which provides nutrients for good health and growth.

  • Be active:- if the children are being active then they gets healthy growth and development. They should have at least 1hour of physical activities daily. They should play different games like hide and seek, tag games and sports while having fun also.
