Lose Weight Without Dieting

Whether you try to lose 5pounds or more than 50, the same simple laws of physics says whether or not you will lose weight and how fast your weight loss will occur. In remembering these simple guidelines and making those in practice will lead to weight loss without any diet plans, books and medications.

Our weight will be decided by the amount of energy that we eat and the amount of energy we use in the activities of our body. Energy is mainly measured in calories. If your weight is same then you are taking the same amount of calories per each day. If you are weight is slowly increasing then the calories you are taking are greater than the number of calories you expend on your daily activities. Everyone will be in control of the amount of food he/she takes each day, so we can control the calories and we can also control we burn on each day. The number of calories we take each day will depend on

1. Basal metabolic rate(BMR)- number of calories we take per hour simply by being alive and maintains the body functions
2. Level of physical activity

For some of the people, due to inherited factors or other conditions, the BMR can be slight higher or lower than average. Our body weight will also plays a major role in determining how many calories we take at rest- more calories are used to maintain your body in its present state, greater your body weight. A 100-pound person required less energy to maintain his body weight than a person who is having weight 200 pounds.

The lifestyle and work habits usually determine how many calories we require each day. Example: the person whose job involves in physical labor then more number of calories he required than the person who sits at a desk most of the day. As a brief estimation, average women 31-50 years of age who leads a lifestyle like sitting at one place will need about 1,800 calories per day to maintain his normal weight and the person of the same age requires 2,200 calories. Doing exercises for 3-5days per week he required 20 additional calories per day.

The method for weight loss is to reduce the number of calories you take while increase in the number of calories you burn through the physical activity. For losing 1pound, you need money of approximately 3,500 calories. You can get this back by having the less food, increasing physical activity and doing both.

By having less eating habits and practicing that control, then you can eat nutritious foods so that you can get more calories to maintain health and weight. Weight loss can be avoided by following methods:

1. Processes foods
2. More sugar foods
3. White bread and pasta
4. Foods having high percentage of calories from fat
5. Alcoholic drinks

Maintaining a healthy body weight is important for maintain physical and emotional well being and prevent the disease. Excess weight and obesity have been joined with increases risk for numerous medical conditions, includes
